Well folks, we did it again! Rightlook.com made the list of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in San Diego for the 3rd year in a row. This year we ranked at #43, putting us in the top 50 once again! The San Diego Business Journal publishes the list of fast growing companies each year, ranking companies based on growth in both revenue and employee size over a three-year period. Rightlook.com exhibited more than 87% growth over the last 3 years! Rightlook.com has been honored in the Top 100 every year since the San Diego Business Journal began publishing the list in 2004.

This year we celebrated with other honorees at an outdoor awards ceremony at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina. Jerry Sanders, Mayor of San Diego, was the featured speaker at the poolside VIP reception prior to the awards presentation. Then the party moved to the 4th floor outdoor terrace where the honorees waiting anxiously to learn where they ranked on this year’s list. The countdown began with #100 and ended with #1. And right in the middle at #43 was Rightlook.com! It was great to cheer as Stephen Powers went to the podium to receive the award.

Being a part of this prestigious list is quite an accomplishment, especially for the 3rd year in a row. It shows that Rightlook.com is a stable, healthy and growing company, attributes that help our customers feel confident when doing business with us. It’s also great to be recognized not just as a leader in the auto reconditioning industry, but as a leader in the San Diego business community. It was another busy weekend at the Rightlook.com campus in San Diego! We finished another successful seminar for professional auto detailing and as usual, it was a big hit. Over 35 attendees spent two full days learning about the opportunities in the auto detailing industry as well as how-to-detail tips, marketing techniques, ideas to build and grow their businesses and more! Highlights of the seminar include the fully narrated detailing demo, the hands-on time with auto detailing equipment like polishers, extractors, etc., and the profit center demonstrations of paint touch up, wheel repair, ozone odor treatments, etc. Everyone had a great time and got really pumped up about the opportunities in professional auto detailing. Even more importantly, each attendee walked away with so much more knowledge about the auto detailing industry…knowledge that will be what sets them apart from their competitors and helps them succeed.

Well, after 5 years at our current location on Miramar Road, the Rightlook.com headquarters will soon have a new home. But don’t worry! We aren’t leaving beautiful sunny San Diego! In fact, our new facility is located just a few blocks from our current one. The Rightlook.com staff couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming move. The new facility will give Rightlook.com an enhanced professional image and lots more room. The new building will feature a beautiful new retail store and showroom, professional offices and conference rooms, a huge warehouse, a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and an onsite gym! Our training center and classrooms will remain at the current location, just a few blocks away from the new corporate headquarters.

Our move is scheduled for December 1, 2006 and we hope to have a grand opening celebration soon after we get settled in the new place. We’ll keep you posted on that, and make sure that you are invited to the festivities! We can’t wait to show off Rightlook.com’s new home!
